Characters: Antecius Grillius

Antecius Grillius is a twig of a man, vibrating with nervous energy and exotic stimulants. He dresses richly, advertising his wealth, and has a hawk’s gaze. He is in his early 50's.

His father made the trade of a lifetime, getting Antecius an apprenticeship in the merchants’ guild. Most of the guild shunned his teacher, but he taught Antecius several key theories and let the child read books about trade. Antecius mastered them and noted that crisis makes or breaks a merchant. While in his 20's he made a number of very good trade deals which allowed him to build a relationship with mining companies in the Realm of Steel and the Three Gems. Over time he has almost cornered the market on copper, tin, and iron ores.
