Characters: Taylan Cornelius

Taylan Cornelius comes from a family of musicians and entertainers.  His family would travel from village to village; town to town and visit a city on a rare occasion.  He learned how to play a large number of instruments over the years.

Unlike anyone else in his family, he had a unique gift in that he was able to weave magic into his songs.  This is considered a wild talent since it falls outside of all other known types of magic.

He grew bored and restless with the life an entertainer and ended up joining an group that worked as mercenaries and thrill seekers.  Eventually he and his companions acquired enough wealth and years that they all decided to settle down.

At this point Taylan began his new career teaching music to wealthy patrons children.

His only serious pupil is Julian Benedict Aemilia, who also had the wild bardic magical talent.
